The South Windsor boys soccer team claimed a solid 3-1 win over East Hartford on Monday, controlling the pace of the match from the opening whistle. The home side struck first and never looked back, building a lead that held up through the final minutes.

South Windsor's attack found rhythm early, pressing forward and creating chances that forced East Hartford to defend deep. The midfield did well to win possession and move the ball quickly, keeping the visitors off balance for long stretches. East Hartford managed to pull one back, but South Windsor answered with composure and restored its advantage before the break.

The second half saw more of the same. South Windsor stayed organized at the back and limited clear looks at goal, while the offense kept threatening on the counter. The final score reflected the run of play, with South Windsor earning a result that should boost confidence going forward.

Players and coaches shook hands after the whistle, and the home crowd showed its appreciation for a strong team performance. South Windsor will look to carry this momentum into its next fixture, while East Hartford will regroup and work on tightening things up before returning to action.
