Baugh is a patient runner who lets his blocks develop before exploding through the hole. He has a thick, lower-body build that allows him to break arm tackles and consistently fall forward for extra yards. While he is not a burner in the open field, he shows enough burst to get to the second level and the vision to cut back against the flow of the defense. In pass protection, he is willing and physical, though his technique can get a bit reckless at times.
The biggest question for Baugh will be his receiving ability. He was not used heavily as a pass catcher in Florida's offense, and he needs to prove he can run a full route tree and be a reliable check-down option. If he can show that skill at the combine and during drills, he has the profile of a three-down back at the next level. As it stands, Baugh projects as a Day 2 selection with the upside to become a starter in a power-running scheme.
