Adam Finkelstein has released an updated Big Board for the 2026 NBA Draft, making significant adjustments after spending last week scouting prospects at the NBA Draft Combine. The annual showcase in Chicago gave evaluators a close look at the next wave of talent, and several players used the opportunity to boost their stock.
The biggest winners from the event were the Michigan Wolverines. Multiple players from the program impressed scouts with their athletic testing and skill work. Their performances during five-on-five scrimmages also turned heads, showing that the Big Ten program is producing legitimate first-round talent. Finkelstein moved several Michigan prospects up his board, citing their combination of size, fluidity, and basketball IQ as standout traits.
On the other side of the spectrum, Flory Bidunga saw his ranking take a hit. The highly touted big man, who was previously considered a lock for the top ten, struggled to separate himself from the competition in Chicago. Scouts noted concerns about his offensive polish and ability to guard in space against quicker forwards. While his raw athleticism remains intriguing, the lack of a consistent jump shot and limited post moves have caused him to slide down the board.
Finkelstein emphasized that the combine is just one data point, but it often reshapes the conversation for fringe lottery picks. With the college season still months away, the 2026 class is beginning to take clearer shape.
